Look on the bright side.( 긍정적으로 생각해. )       A: I invested $5,000 in this stock and it just     plummeted! B: Oh, no! With stocks, you win some and you lose     some. A: What am I going to do? I'm so depressed. B: Look on the bright side, you can always     make more money.     A: 5,000 달러를 주식에 투자했는데    주가가 곤두박질쳤어! B: 오, 이런! 주식으로는 돈을 벌기도 하고     잃기도 하지. A: 어떻게 해야 하지? 너무 우울해. B: 긍정적으로 생각해,     언제든 돈을 더 많이 벌 수도 있는 거잖아.

The amount on the receipt is not right. 첫 일본 여행 길에 오른 허 대리. 한 상점에서 물건을 구입한 후, 받아 든 영수증에서 진열대의 금액과 다른 것을 보고 친구에게 이에 대해 지적합니다.   A: The amount on the receipt is not right. B: Let me see. Oh, that's because the prices     displayed on goods don't include tax. A: That's why, in Korea, taxes are already          included in the price. B: I see. That could be convenient, as you don't     have to calculate how much tax you have to pay.   A: 영수증에 나온 총액이 틀렸네. B: 어디 좀 봐. 아, 그건 상품에 표시된 가격에는     세금이 포함되지 않아서 그래. A: 그래서 그렇군. 한국에서는 가격이 세금이 이미     포함한 것이거든. B: 그렇군. 그거 편하겠다, 세금으로 얼마를 내야     하는지 계산할 필요가 없으니 말이야.     [해설] 북미 지역, 일본 등에서 상품에 표시된 가격은 세금 포함 전 가격이므로           물건 구입시 이에 유의해야 할 필요가 있다.
