	to be in under control이라 직역하면 「통제 밑에 있다」라는 뜻으로, 「상황이나 일이 수습할 수 있는 범위 내에 있는 것」을 의미한다. 따라서 「Everything is under control」 했으니까 모든 것이 「통제할 수 있는 범위 내에 있다」라고 해석 할 수 있겠다. 또 참고로 under control의 반대말은 out of control이라고 표현하면 되고, 예문으로, The situation is out of control은「상황은 통제 범위 내에서 벗어나 흐트러진 상태다」라고 할 수 있다.

	Just when you think no one can come up with a genuine modern analogy to Nazi Germany, someone does. Benjamin Netanyahu, the leader of the conservative Likud Party in Israel, offers a scary and wholly plausible comparison. “It's 1938 and Iran is Germany,” he told the annual General Assembly of the United Jewish Communities the other day in Los Angeles. “When someone tells you he is going to exterminate you, believe him ― and stop him.”sooner than he completed his speech the Iranian newspapers reported that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was boasting that “we will soon witness [Israel's] disappearance and destruction.” Mr. Ahmadinejad and his men are preparing a Holocaust that Hitler would envy, not limited to a tiny fledgling democracy in the Middle East. 	A: Could you stop complaining about the job? It's getting on my nerves. B: Sorry, but it's true the job doesn't pay well. A: 그 일에 대해서 불평 좀 그만 할 수 없겠어? 신경에 거슬려. B: 미안해. 그렇지만 보수가 적은 건 사실이거든. get on ones nerves는 어떤 일, 말, 상황 등이 신경을 거스르게 만드는, 즉 짜증 나게 만드는 경우 사용되는 표현이다.
