	위의 대화에서 사용된 to get one's act together∼이라는 표현은 「정신차리다 혹은 행동 따위를 신중히 하다」라고 해석할 수 있다. 또 had better은 「∼해야 한다」라는 표현이므로 I'd better get my act together은 「행동을 신중히 해야겠다」 또는 「정신 차려야겠다」라고 해석할 수 있겠다. 「당신 정신을 차리셔야 겠네요/행동을 신중히 해야겠네요」는 You'd better get your act together라고 하면 된다. 그냥 짧게 Get your act together「신중히 행동하세요」라고 할 수도 있다. 참고로 이 문장에서의 through는 「지나가다/통과하다」라는 의미보다는 「끝내다」라는 의미에 가까워 half way through란 표현은 「반 정도 끝내다/하다」라고 해석할 수 있다. ▶matter「일」 ▶presentation「발표」
