	to slip one's mind란 「깜박 잊다/까맣게 잊다」라는 뜻이다. 그냥 「깜박했어요」라고 이야기한다면 [It just slipped my mind]라고 하면 된다. 유의할 것은 to slip이라고 사용됐을 경우에는 [미끄러지다]라는 뜻으로 사용되고 [to slip out]하면 [빠져나가다]라고 할 수 있겠다. 예문으로 [He slipped on the road][그는 길에서 미끄러졌다]라는 뜻이고 [it slipped out of my hand]라고 한다면 [손에서 빠져나가다]라는 뜻이다.
