[오늘의 회화표현] Could you knock down the price? / Free-for-all. / Beggars can't be choosers.

	위의 대화에서 to knock down the price는「값을 깎아 내리다」라고 해석하며 konck down은 주로「쳐서 넘어뜨리다」라는 의미로 사용된다. 또 knock out이라는 표현이 있는데 「∼누구를 때려눕히다」라는 뜻으로 the champion knocked out his opponent하면 「챔피온이 그의 상대자를 때려 눕혔다」라는 뜻이다.
